Concerned Citizen's point of view
This may come as a surprise to some but I have repeatedly said that I personally would support a marina in Acme if it is financially viable and there is adequate land to support the marina’s infrastructure without significantly reducing the amount of “open” space. Assuming that it’s the Acme Boards intent to run a municipal marina “like a business”, as was the unanimous recommendation by the “panel of experts” at the Mt. Holiday forum, I have some real concerns with a number of the key financial projections and conclusions published in the Edgewater Acme marina feasibility study.

Acme residents to visit the Township web site
We would encourage Acme residents to visit the Township web site.and review the Acme Township Marina Market Analysis report that was presented on April 25th. The important question that still needs to be answered, "What is the true cost for a project of this nature?" It’s important at this point for the residents of Acme to voice their opinion, so call the Township and let your voice be heard.
