Happy Days Are Here Again. Let The Good Times Roll. These are the feelings the residents of Acme Township have not heard in years. With the recent election this past summer, there is a renewed feeling of optimism among the local community.
The Acme Business Association recently had the opportunity to have an open Q & A session with the newly elected board of Acme Township and discuss many of the issues facing the Township.
Topics ranged from the current progress with the Shoreline Project to recent Placemaking and how this will blend in with the business community and the shoreline project. And an update on the Village of Grand Traverse Development. Now known as the Grand Traverse Town Center.
The intent of the meeting was to open up a positive dialog with the newly elected officers which have been lacking in the township for years. We all know Business and Government don’t always see eye to eye. But, the business community is looking forward to working with this newly elected group.
Acme Business Association would enjoy hearing your thoughts about your community and what you feel is the right direction. WE want to know, because we want to help take Acme where YOU want it to go! Let’s work together to help Acme once again thrive. You can reach us at [email protected] or check us out on Facebook.
Thank you.
